About Us

Our Outreach

Nourishing Gardens SDA Community Outreach Ministries is a community service program that meets the need of many families in Southeastern Michigan.

Mission

Providing food in our community for those who are in need, regardless of race, age or religion and to educate in areas of health and nutrition for a better life style.

Established

Nourishing Gardens began in April of 2003. The food distribution program was established to help those that were struggling to feed themselves and their families.

What we do

Nourishing Gardens provides emergency food boxes to low-income families in the Southeastern Michigan area. Communities include: Sumpter Township, city of Belleville, and Van Buren Township. Our long term goal is to continue to provide low-income families with nutritious food and provide the community with a healthy living program and youth services.
